Panna Cotta

Last night we attended a small dinner party at the home of some friends in Dusseldorf. They used the occasion to introduce their new - month old! - baby girl and serve a yummy meal.

We drank wine and communicated as best we could in German... the more wine the more confident , but less knowledgable I feel. Its a slippery slope :)

After dinner our hosts brought out a homemade dish of Panna Cotta. I'd never had it before which is crazy since,  after reading through a few recipies, it seems to capture everything I love in a pudding like consistency. While this dessert was served with rasberry jam, I love the idea of fresh berries in the spring time. I am thinking about trying this tasty looking recipe the next time we have any room in our mini fridge.
