X-omat

While in Bern for this awesome music festival we spotted the X-omat. 'What is an X-omat?' you might ask. Well, this blurb from their website explains it all: "The X-omat is a living portrait and signing machine. It is fully automatic and mobile. After four minutes of exposure time, it spits out a surprising and truly unique piece of paper."

There is an artist who sits in this cardboard box and draws 4 pictures of you while you wait. Isn't that an adorable idea - so much more fun and creative than a photo booth. I hope more artists feel inspired by this, because X-omats should be way more commonplace.
